On, November 8, 2021 Environmental groups challenged the U.S. Forest Service over the Rio Grande National Forest Plan. TPA has intervened to support multiple uses and give motorized recreation a voice as the lawsuit proceeds. Joining forces with the TPA are the following organizations: Backcountry Discovery Routes, Colorado Snowmobile Association, and Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition. Thanks to an introduction from TPA counsel Kent Holsinger, Mountain States Legal Foundations (MLSF) will be representing TPA and the other intervenors in the case at no cost.
