Wanita 891

Projects and Duties performed:
● Full and extensive tune up on Quakey and Wanita trails. These trails were totally overhauled and given a complete makeover, they are smooth riding with great drainage. Most of the rocks were even raked off and the corridor was cleared so that it will not have to be done for several years.
● Greg and Troy split the hitch as crew leaders.
● Bob Nicolls was the organizer and mastermind of a large effort to mobilize volunteers and various trail work resources to extensively work Sargents area moto trails. The TPA Trail Crew plugged in to work as part of this larger effort.
● Direct volunteers helping with Sargents trail work
● Cut away brush to improve the corridor and make corners of the trail safer.
● Installed drains and removed loose rocks on all trails, cutting corridors as needed.
● Cleared and created new drainage where the trail had standing water or water running down the fall line.
● Made public contacts, explaining CPW OHV grant funding and how it goes directly towards trail work. Also explaining how TPA keeps trails open.
