The sixteenth annual Trails Preservation Alliance Colorado 600 returns to South Fork, Colorado, September 16–20, 2026, continuing its legacy as one of the most iconic backcountry motorized events in the state. Set in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, the Colorado 600 delivers four days of rugged terrain, breathtaking alpine passes, and long miles that reward skilled riders with unforgettable views and true high-altitude adventure. More than just a ride, the event brings together a tight-knit community of enthusiasts who share a passion for responsible trail use and the preservation of motorized access to Colorado’s public lands. With challenging routes, well-earned camaraderie, and a mission-driven purpose, the Colorado 600 stands as a testament to what’s possible when adventure and advocacy ride side by side.
Registration is $2,000 ($1500 is tax deductible) and includes hotel lodging, meals, GPS tracks for adventure, dual-sport and singletrack riding, and access to the Colorado Trail Symposium - featuring in-depth presentations on access, stewardship, and policy highlighted by a high-profile guest speaker at a formal banquet on Saturday evening. This event celebrates the work of the TPA, educating riders on the needs, challenges, and wins for the motorized trail community in Colorado. Join us for this historic and incredibly unique event!
Rental motorcycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis from Colorado Motorcycle Adventures.
