Projects and Duties performed:
● Installed drains and removed loose rocks on Alpine trail
● Heavy rock and dirt work to improve 42 degraded switch backs up the Alpine trail
● Remove rocks and erosion debris from 8,860 feet of trail and repaired damaged trail tread.
● Cleared and improved Alpine and Nate Creek trails
● Cleared and created new drainage where seeps had water running down the trail eroding the tread, resulting in tread damage and loose rocks.
● Heavy Rock work performed to improve crux move on upper section of Alpine trail, trail feature was dangerous and unsustainable - now safe and stable but still fun!
● Completed special mission to recover an abandoned dirt bike that had been sitting 2 years. This required towing a motorcycle with another motorcycle on technical single track for many miles! We also had to push and pull bike up hills by hand with a rope!
● Improved bermed corners by reshaping and adding drainage
● Restored damaged trail sections by fixing and rehabbing braided trail sections, leaving one nice clean and self draining single track trail.
