Rene brings extensive business leadership, having owned and managed companies in trucking, real estate development, construction, and concrete manufacturing, along with serving on community bank and holding company boards.
A lifelong OHV advocate, Rene was a founding board member of Stay the Trail, South Dakota Trails Development, and Mountain Trails Axxess in Steamboat Springs. With nearly 60 years of dirt bike experience, Rene has promoted and supported major enduro events and guided high-profile rides across Colorado.
Rene has also managed multiple OHV grants and worked closely with the Forest Service and BLM, recognizing the need for strong, organized advocacy to protect and expand motorized trail access. His passion and experience make him an invaluable asset to the Trails Preservation Alliance.
