Troy’s words
Giving you all the Norwood hitch update. We got a wide variety of work done this hitch for John hidy out of the Norwood district. We also cut some trees out, cooridor, and moved alot of debris. All at the request of some public, Morgan from highland cycles, and the westcore club. The focus of the week was getting reroutes mapped on three different trails.
Each trail had a bad fall line section that is eroding alot. All of the new trail alignments would shed water and allow for a better user experience. We did about seven miles of GPS routes. Including three separate routes in red canyon to allow for a lot of flexibility of building from the forest service. We also have multiple options on nepa versus non nepa reroutes.
We also met up with the westcore vise president to look and discuss possible layouts. We mapped reroutes for sections on Wilson mesa, red canyon, and paradox. Also as an update on the bike. I pulled it apart and found the plastic piece that was going into the motor was compromised. The dealerships have not been much help so I have ordered the parts and will be able to fix it once they are in. I looked it up and it's just plug and play with the new one. Smug mug pictures are loaded. Everything else was pretty much as usual. Besides bee sting count was me 4...Mike 1...and Karl O....lol have a good week!
